Aquashade® is a concentrated aquatic dye that filters sunlight that will reduce the growth-potential of aquatic weeds and algae. It is one of the few dyes available that are EPA-registered for controlling aquatic plant growth. In addition, Aquashade colors water an attractive blue to enhance its aesthetic quality.
The typical application rate for Aquashade is 1 gallon per 1,000,000 gallons of water.
Results appear immediately and last up to four months in nonflowing waters.
Apply Aquashade for ponds to controlled waterways such as ornamental and golf course ponds, lakes, fountains, and fish farms. It may also be used for swimming ponds (after complete dispersal).
